Just Cruising

We set off as planned 18:30 on Monday.
Of course there was a mandatory drill and it was there that we met up with 2 couples from near Melbourne. Since then we have shared drinks in the bar and dinner two evenings running.
Our group has also befriended a lady and her daughter.
We feel they will stay friends with us beyond this cruise.
This evening we watched an albatross hunting for its dinner.
The stateroom is spacious and the TV provides constant tracking information about our progress towards Milford Sound, our first stop.
The weather is cooler than we had anticipated but somehow that does not bother us much.
The choice of places to eat as well as the food itself is better than we had anticipated.
We went a meet the Captain and Crew session this evening and here I am with the Captain himself.

  2. So glad you are both having such fun. I love the photos of NZ and it takes me back to when I spent time there. When Wellington is windy by gum, it really can tke you off your feet xx
