We have had a great day today, we caught the shuttle bus from the port into town and it dropped us off at the visitors centre where we had a cup of coffee. We then walked to the cable car and went up in that to the view point at the top.
We walked back down through the Botanical gardens which were lovely, we saw huge tree ferns, roses and hydrangea and many more of the plants that we enjoy in our gardens in the UK.
We returned to town via The Beehive, the Parliament buildings. We are now back on board enjoying a tube of Fosters in The Centrium. We depart at 5.00pm tonight for Napier.
